My Polish wife's family are Hs and Rs all from the Caucasus region and DNA tied to modern Jews non Hebrews also Rs with mix of some Js and Is. They also match up with western Rs who also hail from the Caucasus. Oxford University is coming out with a new earth shattering book this fall to change the way we examine history / black history. Africans may be black but most if not all blacks who were the real American Indians are not African. Blacks lived in Europe and America for over 2000 years. I love my Indian mum and Polish wife of 19 years dearly but they both have humble roots in the CAUCASUS region just 300 years ago when the planet was black when the population was 600 million. Added footnote- several key SLEAT Haplo E Scottish MacDonalds who are no longer tracked by the www.peerage.com- for over 300 years for reasons unknown are lost in the records or to time. I have 2 USA connected Haplo E MacDonalds on my STR list of matches and I'm certain others are there but either do not test or have their haplo E results hidden from the public. Just discovered several key MacDonalds from the Westmoreland area and most likely connected to my Haplo E Sleat line moved to Costa Rica, Cuba, Panama, and the USA and changed their surnames to Henry, Anderson, Ennis, Davis, and James (surname). Note that in Latin cultures it is common for men to adopt their mother's name as well and this is incorporated into their own birth name as a suffix pushing "Macdonald/ Mcdonald" in as a middle vs. last name/ surname when referencing / tracing such persons. On a positive note thanks to DNA tracing a large part of the paternal McDonald/ Macdonald's family history and ancestral lineage (combined Gabon/ West African, Scottish/ Irish, English and French origin) has been unlocked. My great great grandfather James Macdonald b. 1788 Inverness, Scotland was an E-M2 haplogroup and Scottish royal and I've taken over his profile on FTDNA. The Scots arrived in Jamaica in the early 1700s after the Glencoe massacre- links to Port Maria, St Mary, Jamaica (full 100 years before the Irish McDonalds descended upon St Elizabeth) ..some stayed and others moved on to PEI / Cape Breton, Canada. Seeking DNA links to 18th great grand dad King Somerled 11th to 12th century Scotland (not convinced re haplo R assignment since Somerled's origins are unknown) - and Isak Orkney b. 1082 - Scotland (STR match- Collins & St Clair/ Sinclair). My biggest discovery this past year was to confirm via whole genome sequencing performed in Poland that all Scottish male St Clairs/ Sinclairs who migrated to Westmoreland, Jamaica including patriarch Daniel Sinclair d. 1860s and buried in Westmoreland, Jamaica were all Haplo Es. In touch with living male descendants who are also Haplo Es.
